With summer nearing its end, and the cold weather season fast approaching, I wanted to share a skincare line that I don’t see mentioned nearly enough, T’else’s Kombucha Hydro Glow line, formerly known as the Kombucha Teatox line. My skin tends to get much drier during Alberta winters, where temperatures can get as low as -40°C, so using nourishing skincare products that form a protective barrier against moisture loss is essential. The star ingredient of this vegan line is Indian Assam kombucha! Alongside 3 types of hyaluronic acid, this line strengthens the skin barrier while giving you dewy, radiant and glowing skin. These sensitive skin-friendly products are also dual-function, brightening dull skin and improving the appearance of wrinkles!
How Does Kombucha Benefit The Skin?
Kombucha extract provides a powerful dose of antioxidants and nutrients, protecting your skin from environmental damage. Its probiotic content helps balance the skin's microbiome and offers soothing anti-inflammatory benefits. Additionally, the lactic acid in kombucha gently exfoliates, revealing a brighter and smoother complexion.

This toner is literally ideal for cold weather! It hydrates my skin very effectively but feels so much more nourishing and moisturizing than the average hydrating toner. The fermented ingredients give it a richness that I don’t often experience with toners. During the summer months I prefer a lightweight toner for my oily skin, one that absorbs immediately without leaving any residue behind. However, in the cold months where my skin needs a little boost, this formula is absolutely perfect!
Kombucha Hydro Glow Ampoule
Key Ingredients: 63% Indian Assam kombucha extract, triple hyaluronic acids, niacinamide, turmeric extract
Key Functions: Brightens, provides moisture & evens out skin tone
If you love a glowing dewy complexion, this ampoule is for you! It has a lovely consistency that looks and feels somewhere between a gel and pure honey that turns watery upon application. The glow is immediate with this ampoule! It’s also very nourishing, leaving my skin ultra hydrated, moisturized and healthy looking. I also find this ampoule to be especially soothing, which I can probably attribute to the addition of turmeric extract. Those with sensitive, reactive skin will most likely really enjoy this one!
Kombucha Hydro Glow Cream
Key Ingredients: 53% Indian Asssam kombucha extract, triple hyaluronic acids, niacinamide, meadowfoam oil, shea butter
Key Functions: Moisturizes, firms, improves elasticity & brightens dull skin
This cream has such a beautiful consistency! It’s a gel cream, yet rich, thick and buttery at the same time. The one thing that impresses me so much about this cream is how long-lasting the moisture is. My house has unfortunately low humidity levels, so despite having really oily skin, I often wake up with my skin feeling very dry, with absolutely no signs of my evening skincare routine. If I apply this cream at night, I wake up with that same moisturizing protective layer I went to sleep with! It’s so moisturizing and nourishing and gives my skin such a lovely glow as well. I can’t recommend this cream enough to those struggling to keep their dry skin moisturized!
