What Is A Lush Kitchen Box?

A Lush Kitchen Box is a monthly subscription box containing 4-5 full-sized products. Most, if not all, of the products in the Kitchen Boxes are 'Kitchen Exclusive', which are limited edition products created especially for the Kitchen Box. They often include beloved retro products from the past as well! You can order the standard Kitchen Box, which will contain a bath bomb and a bubble bar, alongside a few other options, or you don't have a bathtub, there is also a Kitchen Shower Box, which replaces the bath products with more shower-friendly products. For those that want the entire selection, you can pay a little extra for the Kitchen Box XL. To make it even more fun, each monthly box follows a specific theme! Since I love sweet, fruity and gourmand scents the most, February seemed like the perfect month for me to finally sign up.

Box of Lush products with vibrant pink labels, including body wash and conditioner. Pink leaflet with illustrated storefront. Green box.

American Pie Body Conditioner

Black container labeled "American Pie" with a strawberry design. Open lid reveals creamy body conditioner. Bright lighting on a white surface.

An in-shower body moisturizer infused with almond oil, fresh orange & strawberry infusions, jojoba oil, shea butter, murumuru butter & cupuaçu butter.

The American Pie Body Conditioner shares the same fragrance as the American Cream line, which is described as a creamy vanilla/strawberry milkshake scent with herbal undertones from the clary sage and lavender oils. While I did smell a bit of strawberry directly from the tub, once it was on my skin, the clary sage took front and center.

After cleansing, the body conditioner is meant to be massaged onto the skin, then rinsed off. The texture is a lot like your typical body cream and didn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all. My skin was a lot more moisturized than if I hadn't used anything at all, but the skin on my body is typically quite dry at this time of year, so I found it wasn't sufficient enough to go without moisturizer entirely. I suspect I would enjoy this a lot more in the summer.

Sticky Banana Body Wash

Pink tub of "Sticky Banana" body wash by Lush, with an open lid showing creamy contents. Bright setting, banana graphic on lid.

A thick, creamy banana-scented body wash containing oat infusion, coconut cream & date syrup.

Directly from the tub, this body wash smells exactly like those foamy banana candies to me! However, while using it, the banana scent is much more subtle. In the past, I've found Lush's creamy body washes don't lather as well as I'd like, but thankfully that wasn't the case at all with Sticky Banana. Just a little bit produces tons of foamy lather that leaves my skin feeling very soft and a lot more moisturized than normal. Despite the fragrance being quite subdued while using it, I really love the formula.

Sweetie Pie Perfume

Pink perfume bottle labeled "Sweetie Pie" on marble surface, next to a matching pink box. Golden cap, pastel checkered pattern.

A sweet, fruity & long-lasting perfume with notes of blackcurrant & bergamot that shares the same fragrance as the popular Comforter bubble bar.

If you love the Comforter bubble bar, you'll really enjoy this one! The blackcurrant in this perfume is so lovely. Unfortunately for some, blackcurrant notes can smell a lot like cat pee, which I've seen mentioned about this perfume, as well as the Comforter bubble bar. Thankfully for me personally, all I get is sweet, fruity blackcurrant. I found this fragrance to be quite strong as well, which is something I've noticed about most of the Lush fragrances I've tried. One single spray lasts all day for me!

Strawberry Shower Jelly

Red jelly shaped like a strawberry and a pink tub labeled "Strawberry Shower Jelly" on a light surface. Bright and playful vibe.

A jiggly strawberry and bergamot-scented shower jelly infused with agave syrup, fresh strawberries & strawberry powder.

I'm relatively new to the world of Lush Shower Jellies. They seemed strange and potentially difficult to use. This past boxing day sale, I picked up a few on clearance and have loved them ever since. The Lush Community has come up with all sorts of creative ways to use these jellies. From blending them up, to freezing them, to using them in mesh soap bags, these are very versatile! Of course you can just rub them directly on your body or wash cloth, or even rip off small chunks, whatever works best for you!

The Strawberry Shower Jelly smells absolutely incredible, a very sweet and realistic strawberry fragrance that remains on my skin for hours afterwards. It lathers up very well too!

Raspberry Milkshake Soap

A colorful soap in the shape of a raspberry with green leaf on top, against a light background. Features shades of pink and red.

A creamy raspberry-scented bar of soap infused with almond milk, vanilla & fresh raspberry juice.

Saving the best for last! I did not expect this beautiful soap to end up being my favorite product in the whole box, let alone one of my favorite Lush products of all time. The scent is absolutely amazing and I was immediately in love. I don't get the 'milkshake' so much, but the raspberry note is incredible. Sweet, tart, realistic raspberry! To make it even better, the scent lasts on my skin for hours after my shower. I genuinely hope Lush makes more products with this fragrance. It would be a dream come true if Lush dropped a Raspberry Milkshake perfume!
